WE GET STUCK! THE BODY ARMOR WE'VE BUILT UP "THAT PATTERN" HAS BEEN REINFORCED AGAIN AND AGAIN! IT'S AN IMPOSSIBLE JOB TO MOVE THROUGH IT AND GET TO OUR DISSONANT FEELINGS, CONNECT WITH THEM, AND BEGIN TO LET THEM GO. IT'S JUST SO FRUSTRATING. WHAT ARE WE TO DO?
ANYONE ATTEMPTING TO RE-EMERGE FROM PATTERNS FIND IT VERY FRUSTRATING MOVING THROUGH THE BODY ARMOR. "ANIMATED LAUGHTER" CLASSES IS ONE WAY OF DECEIVING THE BODY ARMOR AND ACCESSING THE DISSONANT ENERGY AND RELEASING IT!
WE CAN PASS THROUGH THE DENIAL, THE SOCIALIZATION PROCESS, THOSE OTHER PSYCHOLOGICAL DEFENSES, AND GET TO THE FEAR THROUGH ANIMATED LAUGHTER.

I'VE MET INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE JUST FRUSTRATED ABOUT DOING THE INNER WORK. IT'S CERTAINLY UNDERSTANDABLE. I SUGGEST TO THEM THAT THERE MAY NOT BE ANY ALTERNATIVE BUT TO DO THE INNER WORK.
